Asus officially announced the Asus Eee Reader DR900 which is the first product in the world for the category of e-book reader with a 9-inch touch screen. Asus Eee DR900 using 9-inch screen SiPix electrophoretic type and capacitive touch screen with virtual keyboard that can be used to annotate the readings, create handwritten notes and even draw a sketch. E-book reader Asus has 2GB of internal storage that can store up to 5,000 ebooks and supports SD memory cards for expansion.

 Asus Eee 9-inch DR900 Reader offers a spacious reading room 2.25 times compared to reading the ebook reader on 6-inch screen. E-book Reader DR900 also supports 3G connectivity and optional WiFi and supports text-to-speech for 23 languages, which provide instant ebook conversion into audio books. Asus E-book reader has a battery life of two weeks, long enough to read 20 novels before completing the batteries again.
